The written examinations of Tripura University BA, BSC, BCom courses are conducted as per the semester system. The university has divided the undergraduate course at the university in 6 semesters. There are 3 Odd semesters and 3 Even semesters like Odd semester 1/3/5 semesters and Even Semester 2nd/ 4th/ 6th semesters. Normally, the examinations of odd semesters are conducted during the May/June while the examination of even semesters is conducted during November/December. All the candidates have to obtain minimum of 40% marks to pass the written examinations. To obtain the degree students are required to have secured at least 40% marks in individual subjects and the aggregate. Students who fail in the examinations have to pass the examinations during supplementary examinations. Students have to submit the supplementary exam forms, only those students will be allowed to sit for the supple examinations who are submitted the supplementary exam forms. The pattern of exam and syllabus of the supplementary exams will be the same as per the regular examinations.
