Phase- I – Computer Based Test (CBT)
- CBT shall be held at different centers across the country simultaneously for all the Groups.
- Applicants shall have following language options for CBT out of which they shall have opt for any one. (1) English, (2) Hindi (3) Tamil (4) Urdu (5) Telugu (6) Konkani (7) Kannada (8) Malayalam (9) Marathi (10) Gujarati (11) Odia (12) Bengali (13) Manipuri ( 14 Assamese (15) Punjabi.
- The standard of examination will be 10th/matric level.
- Applicants will be required to answer all questions and shall be awarded 01 mark for each correct answer.
- Negative marks shall be awarded for every wrong answer
- 1/3 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer
- No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted.

Railway कांस्टेबल सीबीटी में योग्यता के आधार पर अभ्यर्थियों को PET and PMT Exam के लिए क्षेत्रीय रेलवे के समूह में वर्गीकृत कुल रिक्तियों के 10 गुना तक बुलाया जायेगा। शारीरिक दक्षता उत्तीर्ण करना (PET) अनिवार्य है। इसके लिए कोई अंक नहीं दिया जायेगा। PET के लिए निम्न मानदंड चाहिए –

Railway Protection Force Constable Exam 2022 Document Verification
- Based on the performance of applicants in Computer Based Test and subject to their qualifying in PET and PMT, applicants will be called for DV.
- In cases of two or more applicants securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e. older person shall be given higher seniority.
- Appointment of selected applicants is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by Railway Administration, final verification of educational and category certificates, verification of character and antecedents of applicants from local Administration and successful completion of initial training.
- Applicants who do not appear for DV will not be considered in final selection, irrespective of their performance in written examination and PET/PMT.
