Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test  2018 Application Form Eligibility Criteria

The Department of School Education, Bihar has been released the Bihar TET notification with minimum eligibility criteria.  Interested applicants will have these criteria at the time of filing BSEB Teacher Eligibility Test application form 2018.

Education Qualification:

For Primary Teacher (Class I to V)

1. Candidates should be Matric pass with a minimum of 45% or its equivalent exam. Those who have a B.Sc /BA degree with 50% marks with B.Ed are also eligible to apply for the Bihar TET Exam.
2.  If you are appearing in the final year or either two years diploma in elementary education or two years diploma in special education or four years bachelor of elementary education are allowed to apply.

For Upper primary level (classes VI-VII)

The applicants should have graduated with B.Ed.  Candidates who have done B.A, B.Sc with  50% marks passed out are eligible to apply.

Important Points with Eligibility Criteria

1. Appearing in B.Ed with 50% marks in Secondary Education will be eligible to apply for the Teacher Eligibility Test 2018
2. The age of the contenders must not be more than 35 years
3. The age of the Other Backward class Female and Male candidates age should not more than 38 years.
4. The applicants of the SC/ST Male/Female candidates will be eligible to apply for the exam with 40  years of age.

Age Limit for BTET Online Registration

The maximum age of the applicants should be 35 years for Male and 38 for Female contenders.

Bihar TET 2018 Application Fee

Contenders have to pay the application fee as per their categories.  Applicants will pay the application charges either Paper I, Paper II or both papers. The fee will be paid via online mode through net banking, credit card/debit card etc.

The Bihar School Examination Board Teacher eligibility test application process will complete in three parts.  In the first part, applicants fill their personal information like name, mobile number, residence details, date of birth, Gender and category, academic details  ( 10/+2, Graduation marks with percentages). and fill option whether you would like to participate for Paper I or Paper II.  In part II, applicants must upload a photograph, signature, and all other required documents. The last step will be for the application fee.
